16 – Cayenne-Lemon Fondue

The base of this fondue classic is created by Emmental and Gruyere cheeses. The lemon juice and cayenne pepper add a wonderful balance to this rich recipe. You can even serve it with fruits, which you can arrange in a lovely display. If you do serve whole fruit, set out some knives so that people can cut them down into dipping size.

Makes 6 Servings

Cooking + Prep Time: 35 minutes

Ingredients:

2 tsp. of lemon juice, fresh squeezed

1 tbsp. of cherry brandy

1 & 1/3 cups of white wine

1/4 tsp. of white pepper, ground

1/8 tsp. of pepper, cayenne

2 tbsp. of flour, all-purpose

4 oz. of cubed Emmental cheese

8 oz. of cubed Gruyere cheese

Assorted cut veggies for serving

Cubed sourdough bread for serving
